The Los Banos Science Community Foundation, Inc.(LBSCFI) will push through with SyenSaya, the Los Banos Science Festival this 2-4 December 2020.
LBSCFI, one of the four science communities created by the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), holds a yearly local celebration of the DOST's National Science and Technology Week (NSTW). Dubbed SyenSaya and celebrated since 2008, LBSCFI has been reaching out to the students, teachers and other members of the Los Banos Community and its neighboring towns to "uplift lives through S&T."
This year, LBSCFI will bring SyenSaya to its public and the world while in the safety of their homes because SyenSaya 2020 is going virtual.
The opening ceremony will be on 2 December 2020 at 9:00 am streamed via LBSCFI official Facebook page. The opening program will feature the welcome message by UPOU Chancellor Melinda dela Pena Bandalaria as the new president of LBSCFI, message from DOST Secretary Fortunato T. dela Pena, launching of the LBSCFI official website, and the launching of the Virtual Wonderama.
