Technology Opportunity Seminar (TechOps) on Food Processing Technology: Vacuum Freeze and Spray Drying Technologies on 13 October 2022 at Hostel Tropicana, Cavite State University (CvSU). The seminar is one of the pre-activities of the 2022 CALABARZON Regional Science and Technology Week with an aim to feature DOST’s vacuum-freeze and spray drying technologies used in preserving fruits and vegetables, and prolonging food storage while maintaining their original flavor and nutrients. Attended by around 50 participants engaged in food processing, the event was likewise graced by DOST-CALABARZON Regional Director Emelita P. Bagsit, DOST-Cavite Provincial Director Gilda S. De Jesus, and CvSU President Hernando D. Robles with Ms. Bettina A. Macaraeg, Science Research Specialist II from the Food Processing Division of DOST - Industrial Technology Development Institute (DOST-ITDI) as the key resource speaker.
