To commemorate their 100th DOST Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (SETUP) Project—the provincial office being the first to achieve the said milestone in the CALABARZON region—DOST-Laguna celebrated with the Global Organic & Wellness Corporation (GlowCorp) at their processing facility in Cabuyao, Laguna last 11 October 2022. The SETUP is a DOST nationwide strategy encouraging and assisting MSMEs to adopt technological innovations to improve their products, services, operations and increase their productivity and competitiveness. Laguna Governor Ramil Hernandez and Laguna Second District Congresswoman Ruth Mariano-Hernandez joined in the celebration.

In the afternoon, DOST-Laguna likewise conducted a hybrid (face-to-face and virtual) training to disseminate information on the science behind packaging and labeling, and guide MSMEs in deciding on the packaging and label of their products in accordance with current laws and regulations.
