DOST-CALABARZON, through the Provincial Science and Technology Center of Laguna (PSTC-Laguna), launched its Vacuum Freeze Drying Facilities at the CALABARZON Food Solutions Hub (C-FoSH) last 28 September 2021 to cater to MSMEs in producing quality vacuum freeze-dried products.
This project was funded by DOST-CALABARZON in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Laguna State Polytechnic University (LSPU) and the Association of Laguna Food Processors (ALAFOP).
The latest equipment added as an expansion of the CFOSH facilities is the vacuum freeze dryer where it will further help food processing companies to manufacture innovative food products using this special equipment. Since its establishment in 2016, CFOSH continues to empower more MSMEs through its state-of-the-art and industry compliant manufacturing plant that conforms to high grade food safety. In addition, CFOSH also helps to support entrepreneurs to come up with new products that are in high demand in the market.
